Looking for suggestions for a dash bag.

I had a small bag behind the windshield of my last bike to keep my glasses and gloves in and I am finding that I miss it on my new bike. Anyone have a bag that is at arms length while riding? I am thinking maybe a small bicycle handlebar bag?

You like to text while riding too?
Can't say I can navigate the contents of a bag and sort things in the wind.

I have a homemade mount made out of plastic PVC pipe inserted between the slides of my Madstad brackets. It is useful for all kinds of accessories and whatnot. Here is a photo of my GPS bag attached to it. I have also used a small bicycle bag with the velcro straps wrapped around the pipe to secure it. It works perfectly and is very functional.

I must have missed where I mentioned anything about a phone, let alone texting. For that matter, I never even suggested that I needed to be in it while I was moving. Lighten up, Francis.

How about a small tank bag, Bucket......like the Joe Rocket Manta?? There is a feller (outfit?) on ADV Riders, under Vendors, that produces two small bags for exactly what you mentioned.....they somehow velcro to the inside of the windshield, and can be removable without damage to the screen. I believe one is triangular in shape, the other is rectanguler. Some use them for inside Pelican top boxes to separate items. Worth a look over there......I'll send you a link in a PM shortly.

Bucket, I've got bags 'o stuff in the top box. We all might carry gobs of necessarys. I also have a tank bag that holds even more things. I even forgot where I had stashed the phone charger wire cus I have so many places to put stuff.
Reading your post made your needs seem imminent as in don't stop, right now!
Perchance the intent of your post was easily misconstrued.
