New Front Fender on Wee Strom....

I was looking around my local dirt bike / moto X store and they had a box with misc front fenders. I picked one up and bought it, hoping I could modify it to replace the nasty front fender Suzuki puts on the Strom. To my amazment it took no modification to fit the bike. Simply drilled two holes in the side, slipped it between the forks and secured it with the two bolts that held the factory fender. I then took it to the autobody shop to have it painted to match the 07 Strom............

What do you think?

Looks good, but my concern would be getting bugs and grime and other crap on the forks right above the seals where they'll be rubbing and wearing on them all the time. The stock front fender covers a few inches of the fork tube. Let me know how it goes!

Looks good but it will allow alot of debris to be shot back at your pipes/radiator/and oil filter.

Most people add the extender. Your the first I have seen to take away from the fender:mrgreen:

And yes............getting wet may be an issue. But yes it looks good.

Some folks commented that the fender was too high..........I agreed, so I went out to the shop and made a couple of brackets to lower it another inch.......There...Happy now!
