Is the fan running when at 4 bars?

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow.

Did the service work involve anything in the cooling system?

What services were performed? Did it have this problem prior to the service work?

Check to see if the fan lead is connected. Left side of radiator.

the shop changed the oil ,filter and changed the cooling fluid but failed to fill it.It got hot going home when it cooled i checked and the radiator was empty and the fan does work. They picked the bike up at my house approx. 6 to 7 miles from the shop filled the radiator and said the tec.just failed to burp it,it over heated again on the way home so i took it back and they changed the thermostat .They said it could have warped it.and it over heated on the way home a third time.I fear it did damage to the top end but i'am not smelling antifreeze and they said the oil was ok.The bike sounds ok and i was not haveing any over heating problems before only 2 bars all the time i rode it.

Simple fix - have them fix the damage they have caused. Also tell them this is your primary vehicle and since because of their negligence, they need to provide you with something for transportation - of similar size and capabilities - until they return your vehicle completely repaired.
