buffeting solved for me

What a relief, I have been riding with buffeting for a while -- read all the threads but was resigned to the continued problem. on a whim i took the bracket that holds the windshield and moved it up to where only two bolts will go in as absolutly high as it will go. then added the suzuki tall windshield in the very top position buttoned it up and went for a ride. and guess what? no more buffeting at all the wind goes completly over my head it's like laying down on the tank behind the windshield. dead air similar to riding a big fat cruiser with a big fat windshield. Now, if I wasn't 6foot 1 inch tall I would be looking out the windshield and we all know that is no good but i look right over the top just barely but still do. I am thrilled If your a taller rider this might be just the fix for ya. sorry for the vertically challenged among us but it probably wont work for you see on the road wilbur-j

Glad to hear there is a solution to that problem I'm considering a V Strom but I hate buffeting .I'm not as tall so if it worked for you I should be able to find a ht. that I can live with.

For those of you that look through your windshield, and even those that don't.
When cleaning your windshield, always rub up and down, for as long a stoke as possible.
Haphazard rubbing, circular rubbing or spot rubbing, over time, contribute to that "circular fuzzy star" you see in the dark from oncoming headlights.
