Thumbs up handlebar risers

if anyone is looking for an inexpensive handlebar riser setup, look at the Tusk universal riser kit in Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. cost is $19.99 plus a flat $7 shipping for orders under $99. by changing the spacer combo, you get 20, 25 30 or 35 mm bar rise. comes complete w. 3 sets of bolts. catalog no. is 191640.

I wish the picture was better. It looks like there is only one spacer to actually raise the bars. Do you have these?

yes, I have these. the kit comes with the pieces that fit into triple clamp that look like the bottom half of the bars, 2 spacers for each side of different thicknesses and the bottom cradle for the bars to fit into. you use the stock top clamps. if you use no spacer, the bars are raised approx. the thickness of the bars themselves. you can also use either or both spacers for more rise. you get 3 sets of different lengths of chrome moly allen bolts, too.

because they're made for dirt bikes, they're not as "pretty" as the one piece Gen-Mars, but they're not $75 either. it's a cheap way to see if you like your bars raised. you can always sell them to a dirt biker if you want to go "stylish" later.

yes, the bars are standard 7/8'. some forum members have been replacing them with higher rise dirt bike bars, but you usually get a cross brace & pad with those. some people may not care for the look.

Let's make it a bit easier for all to see!

BTW, I have the same risers on my V-Strom. Comfort over pretty any day!

Shit, that's not to bad at all. I'm ordering a set. Viva la cheapo ATV parts!

It'll go nicely with my 26 dollar bars.
