It's happened to me a couple of times. I have no idea what causes it or why it stopped. Maybe try something like head & shoulders to moisturize your scalp. That's my theory anyway.

My head itches sometimes, but my helmet's never told me if it has!

On a somewhat more serious note, I actually think it has to do with making your hair go in a direction which it's nt used to, causing the nerves in the roots to give you the itching sensation.

Just an idea and my £0.02.

I wear a skullcap under all my helmets On a hot day when I stop for gas & a leak I run the skullcap under cold water and put it back on. Plus this helps keep your lid smalling fresh & clean

Yep, skullcap is nice.

Also, I hit my helmet with a bacterial spray at least once a week. When you wear it every day, it does get kind of funky in there!

I have removable comfot padding, so that gets taken out periodically and washed.

When you sweat, it makes the inside of the helmet come "alive" !

Little shot of Lysol Disinfectant spray every couple of weeks seems to work.
