I've noticed both my kickstand and center stand don't snap up with more force. Is there a way to improve this? I sprayed a little white lithium grease at the pivot points but I didn't see anywhere specific to put grease. Can the springs be tightened down?
Springs are probably just fine. A squirt from a spray can will only lube what the spray touches. You need to take a few things apart, grease well, re-assemble. :fineprint:
If disassembly for greasing seems a bit extreme, spraying on a lubricant that penetrates well then evaporates to leave a thicker remains is fairly workable. Chain lube is good for this. Lithium spray grease may work if it is in good condition but I've seen the stuff separate and look like watered down cottage cheese.
Greasing is best though. I put grease fittings on the center stand and rear brake lever.
