I noted that some Stroms have a cable clutch line but my 2005 Vee is hydraulic.
Not wanting to muck up anything when I change my front sprocket (and not finding a thread with a specific procedure for a hydraulic clutch line Vee), I broke out the old shop manual last night and finally found the procedure under Section 3 for removing the engine. The steps are to:
-Bind the clutch lever with a rubber band to prevent the clutch release cylinder piston from coming out. (I am sure glad I read this because I wouldn't have thought to do it.)
-Remove the clutch release cylinder
-Remove the push rod (probably don't need to do that)
-Remove the speed sensor. (What the hell is that?)
-Remove the engine sprocket nut and washer while depressing the brake pedal. (It doesn't say whether it is a right or left had thread so I'll assume right hand and like Greywolf suggested, remove it with an air impact gun)
It looks fairly straightforward but is there anything else I should know before getting started?
