In Orlando Jan 5-9

I will be tagging along with the wife for a meeting in Orlando from the 4th to the 9th. Any advice as to what to do (except disney) such as good place to go fish, good place for great wildlife photography, other photo ops, etc.
I plan on renting a car (unless a MC is available to rent. )

We are staying at the Gaylord Palms if anyone wants to have a meet and greet.

My cell phone is 812-236-3048 and I will have it on me while there.

There's tons of stuff to do outdoors around here. That's why we expatriatated Sons of the Corn live here.

For photo ops..the whooping cranes should arrive here any day:

That may be difficult to get to without a boat. This is nearby as well:

You can get a picture of a sunrise over at Cocoa Beach and get a sunset later that day at

Try fishing on one of the party boats at Clearwater Beach.

. Can't rent anything but a HD around here. If Charlie or Lou call for a Saturday ride, we will come :-))

I hope we can meet ya.

"Gaylord Palms "

Nice nice place. You are a stones throw from Disney from the Gaylord Palms. I'm not much of a fisherman but there has got be many places close that you could go. I'm about 20 min north of there but I don't do much fishin so unfortunately I can help out to much.

The Gaylord Palms has a BIG (as in you walk all around through it) ice castle every year and it's ther right now I think. I don't know if it's there thru to Jan 4-9th but if it is it's kind of cool to see all of the high detailed ice work.

Come on central florida stromers, let's help him out here!

Are you talking about stuff for you to do will the wife is busy with business, or stuff you both can do?

OK "Florida V-Strom Riders" when Brendan gets down here we must put up a ride close to Orlando, Maybe our Sugarloaf Mountain ride. If someone wants to step foward and plan one for the 6th of January go for it, if not I will plan one around Sugarloaf, will try and locate a extra bike for Brendan. Lets get this ball rolling ASAP. Brendan let us know of any patictulars about your trip.

Smile In Orlando

I suggest taking an air boat ride on the St Johns river for some great pics. Or I can take you for a ride down the river in my 17' bass boat (I'll have plenty of extra rods and gear for you to use) so you can fish and take pictures.

Attaboy Charlie. Let's show Brendan a good time.

I'm in. I'll rent an HD if it comes to that and Howboucha can have my ride.

You can rent a Harley Sportster for three days for $210, or any of the big Harley's for $345. You can even get a Honda Goldwing for $405. Check it out at http://www.eaglerider.com/index.php4

Better yet, if any of our Florida V-Strom riders have an extra bike that Brendan can use....speak up.

I'll work with Charlie to see if we can lay out a good route right from the Gaylord Palms Hotel. I suggest we have it on Saturday or Sunday (Jan 6 or 7) so we can get a decent turnout.
