Lightbulb Want to Learn to maintain own bike 15,000 Service Need Instruction

Attempted to fly in Greywolf, he's not interested.
Anyone in the Tampa bay area? I would rather pay to participate and learn than to fork over money to a dealer and not know if it was done correctly.
Once had a local dealer f-up an oil change once

Flying in greywolf would be a deal breaker. You have to send him a gas card + money for expenses so that he can ride his way down there. Then I am sure you would be in.:biggrinjester:

Keep the Rubber Side Down.

Garage
While I find flying a pain, what I would miss is my own shop and tools but mostly being in charge of my time. One of the best things about being retired is choosing when, where and how to work without reporting to anyone. That's worth not being paid.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Local talent is sufficient.

If you can convince ironmorph to let you watch him work his magic,
you will soon learn all you need to know ... but I do not know his rates.

The owner's manual is really good, and if you follow it you will be able to handle oil changes, chain replacement, air cleaner replacement, and spark plugs. I let the dealer do the valves and the tire changes and the brakes.

Live and learn.
Keith
