St Augustine, next weekend

I copied this from the IBMW list and figured Id post it here to see it there is any interest. I dont think Im up to that long a run yet, but there may be others that might be interested. Curt

Riding Into History, one of America’s premier vintage motorcycle events,
will return for its 11th Anniversary to the World Golf Village near
St.Augustine, Florida on May 15, 2010.

The event is presented by the Riding Into History Committee, which is
comprised of volunteer members from the BMW Motorcycle Owners of
Northeast Florida (BMWNEF), the Historic Motorcycle Society (HMS) and
other supporting clubs. Between 300 and 400 antique, vintage and classic
motorcycles from all over the country are expected to enter the Concours.
Thousands of spectators are once again expected to enjoy the event which
also includes exhibitors, entertainment, clubs and a variety of food.
Admission is $10 at the gate for the Concours. Various packages are
available for the Biker’s Ball and the Charity Rides and they will be
posted on the website –

The World Golf Village is located just north of St. Augustine on I-95,
exit 323.

I would go, but I have a rather large commitment to keep that weekend. But what to do this weekend?

My pal Les (who's a Strommer now) and I went to this last year. It was a terrific show! The location was absolutely perfect; the bikes are arranged around a gorgeous lake. There was food and drink, cheapo or expensive, plenty of parking, easy to get to from I-95.

I'll have to ping LesHeight and see if we can work it in again this year.

Go hakafugu yourself.
