Many reasons to consider the DL-650
It's a fine machine, Doug. Clem is a very serious rider, and knows quality and how to maintain it. My Wee-Strom enables me to ride to very many states and provinces, because it is so easy to handle that an old dude like me can manage 500 miles day after day, even if I sleep in a tent in between those long days.
I have higher gearing than most of the riders, so I get about 56 miles per gallon, and perhaps my engine will last longer than some. Come to think of it, I have not heard of a Wee-Strom engine "wearing out". I have only 47000 miles on my 2006 Wee, and I expect to ride it at least as far as the distance to the moon.
Prepare to be assimilated. The experience is generally painless, and the camaraderie is a terrific bonus. I have ridden with Stromtroopers in Vermont, Ontario, Newfoundland, and the gulf states (all five of them). We are a cordial and helpful bunch, and great company at all times.
