Fix the damned windshield

If EVERYONE hates the stock windshield (they do), why can't you guys incorporate ideas by Calsci, Madstad, etc, into your stock design. It sucks to have to spend my first month with my new bike deconstructing your crummy design in order to be able to ride. (Otherwise, love the bike).

What makes you think "Everyone" hates the stock screen? Mine has been on there for 4 1/2 years and I have no inclination to change it. If you hate it then say so, but please do not presume to speak for me.

New fairings?

I was at the motorcycle show in Calgary on the weekend and was told by one of the Suzuki reps that they have been shown 2012 Vee photos with new fairing designs. I assume this would include the widshield.

They had 2010 Vee's at the show (not 2011's). I asked if it was going to be discontinued and that is when I was told they had seen pictures of the 2012's. It only sounded like a fairing change and not a complete redesign. I am sure if they are doing to the Vee it would also be done on the Wee.

Absolutely agree. My Wee has just had it's 4th birthday and I have no problems with it. To be it's great and exactly what I want on the type of bike the Wee is.

I'm just shy of 50K miles behind the stock windshield. Adjusting it with an aftermarket bracket and redirecting airflow around the fairing works wonders.

I found the same as Ozart. An other option I have used on other bikes is the Laminar Lip.

stock windshield ok

My stock windshield is fine for over 70,000km. I think the lack of buffeting might have something to do with the fact that I wear a very tight fitting helmet.
