2016 dash computer

Why does the clock/temperature and odometer/trip1/trip2/brightness have to cycle?

It would be much better if it was always on the setting you choose and if you want to see the other stuff then you can use the button to go to it. Very rarely am I wanting to know the exact air temperature or care to see what trip2 is set at when I'm using trip1.

That is weird. mine does not cycle automatically.
It does when I press the button (triggered by the index finger , left hand)

An old thread but......

Make sure your clutch lever isn't actuating the dash button. For the longest time I wondered why my dash kept changing and it turns out every time I pulled the clutch lever in it hit the button and changed the dash.
