Suzuki Customer Service Reps - How Stupid Are They?
I have bought 5 Suzukis over the last 40+ years. All of them were bought new. Twice I have felt the need to call American Suzukis customer service number in California, and both times I was given incorrect information. It's like they just say whatever they think will get you off the phone.
The latest example
The first time I called them, my GSX1100G had over 40,000 miles on it. The rep told me that Suzuki considered anything over 20,000 to be "extreme mileage".

That's funny! I've done a lot of miles on Beemers and working the Wee up to a big number, hopefully. At Beemer rallies the habit was to look at the odometers to see if it had been ridden properly. Lots had multiple 100K's on them.
20 K is nothing!
