Since I'm not sure if I'll have it together by then to have the necessary accoutrements to enable a sound sleep on the ground, I wimped out and reserved a room in the lodge.

Welcome

Zuki926 and Baba Aus,
Welcome aboard.

Baba Aus- I also took a room at the lodge, as I prefer a bed for a good night's sleep. It is only a short walk to where the rest will be camping. The best of both worlds- a great riding weekend, and restful sleep.

Zuki 926- Glad to see there are other Vstrommers in the North Country. I have been riding here for three years, and love our local roads. Live near Lake George, and have been through Lake Placid region many times by bicycle and motorcycle. If you ever want to ride, pm m.e We do have a good few Vstrommers in this region, and group rides would be great.

To all- Let's keep the enthusiasm up and beat last years' turnout.

P.S. anyone interested- doing a three day trip June 14-16 from Lake George to Laconia overnight, then backroads to Montreal overnight for good food and fun, then back down Sunday through Lake Placid.

The Moose River Plains Road from Indian Lake to Limekiln Lake/Sixth Lake opens Memorial Day weekend.
35 miles in length (including the Cedar River Road), 23 miles between the gates with 150 primitive campsites.

Smile count me in

made reservations today for a cottage so I don't have to bring a tent and can dry out in case it rains. Looking forward and try to bring some more from WNY.

Fairly new member here. Long time rider, currently have an ST1300 but have a 2013 650 Vstrom on order for April. I just made a cabin reservation and am looking forward to the rally.

Hi all, I have just placed a reservation on a room for the two nights. I'm on a red 2006 Wee, Battlewing tires, and might bring a few friends with me from the Toronto area. I look forward to meeting you all!

Edit: Is there a Facebook page associated with this event?

absolutely tentatively certain ...

This event was the highlight of my season last year , I have high hopes of attending again this year too . Unfortunately I won't be able to commit till closer to the date .

I prefer to take the back roads all the way there and avoid the slab , so if there are any other Ontario Strommers going , maybe we can ride down together ?
