January Len. I might be wrong, but I saw what looked like 10X25 Modular (1) that might be a rental also. There a couple motels within walking distance.

Good to know Len. So everyone, I will be reserving a few camp sites soon. 2 tents to a site, so a head count is needed to at least get some idea on how many to reserve. For sures are great, but maybes are welcome too.

I'm a pretty sure maybe at this time. I have a construction project starting up this summer, and depending on whether or not we get it bid out on time, and the subsequent start date, I plan to attend. I've never been to a rally before, and look forward to it.

Count me as a "probably". I plan on retiring at the end of May, so I should be either completely free to set my own schedule, or caught up in some craziness.

I expect I'ld make it a leisurely two-day ride from Denver. Is there anyone else who would be on that same schedule and would want to ride with me?
I'll be camping.

I'm thinking of coming down from northern minnesota. Never been to one of these rallies...

I have some questions about some roads i was thinking of riding...
- FR111 south off I80 about 20 km west of Laramie then to FR101

- FR101 west to FR100

- FR 100 to state highways

Are the above forest roads decent for a Wee rider with limited forest road experience? Ive ridden the top of the world highway and local forest roads in my neck of the woods. But i have limited experience in sand or large rock.

Im just looking for info on these roads.

Autocorrect is my new enema.
Relax and have a homebrew.

Home brew enemas? who knew?
I'd imagine that any forest service road experience would be fairly equal. Rocks are lumpy and sand will make you squirm a lot. I haven't done proper sand riding in decades and vaguely remember standing on the pegs, applying power and look way ahead to where I want to be. It worked in Anza Borrego when visiting a bunch of metal sculptures there. I was in FWD in my 4 Runner and uncomfortable on my G650GS BMW but tried to just keep momentum.
It's one of those rotten, Practice makes perfect things.

I haven’t been on the forum for a few weeks. The Cache rally is my drug of choice. I should have a new Terry Adcox seat by then. I’ll put in for vacation when I get to work Monday.

Ok everyone. I reserved 3 camp sites today. 1 for Wed. the 17th for myself and a friend coming along. 2 for Thur. the 18th. One of those is filled by Ken and Jeff Smith(For sures), so 1 site(2 tents) is up for grabs for the next 2 to confirm. When those are filled and more are needed I will reserve more. Let me know when you can.

Ok, a couple things.
1. I have one more confirmed to add. Mark from Idaho. Now have room for 1 more tent without reserving more.
2. Anyone wanting a space to themselves(Non sharing) is free to reserve on their own. The doubling up is for a money saving feature. Sites are $33 + taxes(About $36 or $18 each).
3. The KOA said that weekend often fills up, so no guarantees on late decisions.
4. 2 from the Tenere side have reservation now, bringing the total at 8 for confirms.
5. Remember that there are cabins for those who don't tent(2 beds)

I'm in for sure. Can you sign me up for a site? I plan to arrive Thursday evening, and will be leaving early Sunday morning. I'd like to share a site, and can reserve one if need be, or send me info on how to make payment.

It's 1300+ miles for me, and I don't do iron butt on the K9 Wee. I am going to take three days down and the same back.

I look forward to meeting everyone.
