Agreed, way to expensive

This sounds like a blast but way too far for me at this time. You all have fun and ride safe.

Well now I have to back out of this one! I am glad I got my Newfoundland trip in because I am not getting much else in for trips! My Cousin is getting married that weekend, completely slipped my mind!

Most of the published routes have been updated. Delete the old and download the new!

I’ve ridden both the North and South Puppy Dog routes now. I would say the Southern ride is easier and more scenic. The North ride has a small amount of Class IV and double track roads, which are not very difficult at all.
The Gap Route has eliminated Rt73/Brandon Gap due to extensive construction.

All are welcome

Just get there, camp, and I am sure you can tag along with any of the rides

I would tell the campsite you are with the Vstrom Group for a site

StromVirgin,
RichW is correct. Just click the link on the first page of this thread, and complete the sign up sheet. You are very close by in N.H. RichW started this event 9 years ago, and it continues to be a great riding weekend. Happy to have you attend.

Weather has pushed work out and I am now scheduled for same time as NEVA event. Accordingly, I will be unable to make it to Vermont for this year's NEVA gathering.

I have crossed my info off the sign up sheet.

Have a great time. Vermont in August is sublime and the rides around that area are exceptional...there's always next year.

Alright!! Finally ready. I was a bit worried there as last week, the bike wouldn't start. My wife said that I had been neglecting it. Letting it sit too long in the garage without riding. Believe me, you don't want to ride in Montreal these days - heat, construction, detours, crappy roads and traffic jams everywhere.
After having a bike that wouldn't start, I checked the starter switch (thanks Barry (BlackLab) for the detailed instructions) only to find the wires corroded, frayed and burnt - read fried together. So I ventured on to change the started switch myself and while doing the taking things off part, I found the radiator overflow nipple just hanging there on the end of the hose disconnected from the radiator. Thanks to the Tech forum (and Hartmut's (Blaustrom) post) I JB Welded it back on.
I finally got everything together last night only to find that it wouldn't start :-(
Back to the tech forum. Thanks Greywolf (RIP) for that notice about checking the tiny connector under the clutch. Somehow mine got disconnected. Plugged back in and guess what? It started!! Too late last night for a spin.
I took it for a spin over to the gas station this morning about 10 minutes each way and no issues. Yeah!!
Lodging is booked - looking forward to seeing all your happy faces soon.
Ride safe.
