Seems like an understatement but I'm looking at "Long Way 'Round South Jersey". I'll head West from Gloucester County thru the county seat of Woodbury, NJ. Follow the Delaware River south to where it meets the Delaware Bay, follow the shoreline to Cape May Point, then up along the Atlantic Ocean. I'll be hugging the shoreline as close as possible.
As I said, this pales in comparison to most of your rides.

Hi left leg,

You live in western NC but you're gonna start the MABDR at the north end? That's definitely the long way round! I used to work in the northern part of PA, right where the northern terminus of the MABDR is located; don't be surprised if it snows on you up there in October.

At the moment, I don't have plans to attend the Eastern Rally...but it's still early, so you never know.

I am definitely interested in hearing about your spring trip on the MABDR. This "already old" guy wants to know what I may be in for when we ride it in October. I like the idea of meeting up for a ride sometime as well, we are pretty close, and riding weather has to be here sometime!!

Yes we will definitely meet up and ride! I'm so sick of all the wet and cold.. I'm looking forward to riding the MABDR, trying to decide on which tires I'm going with. I'll let you know how the trip goes..

I will be riding the Lake Superior Circle Tour. There are lots of breweries on the South side and I look forward to visiting many of them.

No major trips this year, but I do want to take a week and get to the 4 states in the lower 48 that I haven't been to yet (MN, WI, ND, SD). We'll see if it actually happens, work commitments are going to make it tough.

On a side note, if anyone is coming through central Oklahoma and needs a place to stay, give me a holler. I'll need a little lead time, and we're gone a lot, but if I'm in town and free I'd be happy to host 1-4 people. We have a garage apartment and space in the main house too. Pool and hot tub also.

Feb 28-Mar 20 I'm going to trailer out of Snow Country, pick up a friend in Alamosa CO, leave the truck and trailer in Alamogordo NM and ride to Big Bend, then down the West Edge of Texas to Brownsville, Up the Gulf coast to Lafayette LA, return to Alamogordo via the Texas Hill Country and head home.

June 10th I'm riding to Alaska via Eureka MT, Banff, Grand cache, Dawson Creek, Whitehorse, D2D in Dawson City, then over the Top of the World highway to Chicken, Tok, and Fairbanks. We may ride up the haul road to the Arctic Circle but only if the weather is good. Denali Park, Anchorage, Homer, Whittier, Valdez, Hyder, Prince Rupert/Port Hardy Victoria BC Port Angeles WA then home.

I've got a few rooms at the Eldorado Hotel available in Dawson City for D2D June 19-22, if anyone wants one shoot me a PM and I'll get you hooked up.

I'll probably head to the West Coast again in late September or maybe to West Virginia, just depends on $$ and SWMBO.

Planning a trip to Natchez Trace from Houston, Texas sometime in May. Going with my girlfriend - our first long distance bike getaway. If anyone is interested in joining or meeting along the parkway, let me know!

A Drive through 10,000 Years of History
The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile recreational road and scenic drive through three states. It roughly follows the "Old Natchez Trace" a historic travel corridor used by American Indians, "Kaintucks," European settlers, slave traders, soldiers, and future presidents. Today, people can enjoy not only a scenic drive but also hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping along the parkway.
