Tenny80,
I know many people think themselves indispensable. That is an unfortunate condition in society.
I was a tech at work and prided myself on doing a good job efficiently. Supervisors would ask occasionally why I didn't jump in and correct a problem that someone else was laboring over.
My response was that someday I won't be there and these guys need to learn to make the corrections themselves.
If management consistently depends on too few workers then they are in the unfortunate position of being SOL in the event that those they depend on cannot be at work.
it's a lack of respect on their part for the workers well being. Studies show that too many workers fear taking vacation because they think their employer will replace them while they are on approved vacation. Seems the workplace in the Americas sucks the bag.
I got to realize that actually the world will continue to function if I happen to leave. There may be a moment of loss felt by a few but life will go on.

I have three in mind. Whether I get to all of them remains a question.

I'd like to ride the MABDR. I'm building a soft luggage attachment system at the moment specifically for that.

A trip down to the Gulf Coast, so I can check those states off my list of places I've ridden in.

Get myself back out West, only this time up near South Dakota. I was out in Colorado/Utah/New Mexico last year, and I can't get enough of the West.

The issue I had was it was a small company of 7. I tried to quit years ago and they gave me 20k raise and a bonus to stay on. I should have quit then because more money didn't fix any of the issues I had. I'm so much happier where I am now

I will be doing the Eastern V Strom Rally with my Son in May!

Then likely going to upstate New York in the last week of June to a BMW get together.

Maybe a repeat of last years trip into Nevada then down to Los Angles and then back to Houston.....

Better order some new tars......

Exactly my thinking. Once it is all paved it would loose some of the appeal to me.

Maybe a few solo trips to Utah, California and Arizona in the spring, the Cache Rally in Montana in June. I would like to take a tour around Colorado with the wife in July.

Au contraire, as I get older the idea of endless miles of questionable road surface has little appeal. Endless miles of nice new asphalt, now you're talkin'!
