I would also remind everyone to start checking their riding gear. On close examination my helmet needed several small things done to it. I broke one of those plastic screws on the side you can't buy last ride and the seal around the inner face needed some help from my bottle of contact cement. I would have forgotten about it if I wasn't installing a Bluetooth system in the helmet.

Just over a month folks

very exciting times!

80% through it! Great reminder. Found several things that needed some love/work.

I'm hurting from giving Fortnine and Warm n' Safe all my money

Not taking any chances. Got the heated gear and GoreTex!

Ride recommendation..........

If anyone is riding "south" from the Iron Horse on Sat May 18 / Sunday May 19, it might be worth stopping by TWO (Two Wheels of Suches, Ga)........Motorcycle Legends Weekend (aka Spring Vintage & 2 Stroke Bike Rally).......sounds fun if you like the sound of ring-dings and the smell of burning Castrol Oil in the morning.......which I do!!!

(sounds like the same Spring Vintage Meet I went to last year, but in April. There were tons of vintage Jap Bikes there that weekend......well worth a ride down there from the IH)

I have learned that if it's raining outside and I'm wearing rain gear (even good gear), I'll just be sweating so much on the inside I might as well be getting rained on... only I'll smell worse.

I'll still wear it though!

Johnson City, TN... originally from NC

Rides:
2008 V-Strom 1000
2006 Kawasaki Nomad 1600 (w/ sidecar for the boy)

So true

But I also realized that staying in the bunk house is only $10 more and includes electricity, air conditioning, a bed, towels and snoring at no additional cost.

So instead of packing my tent and camping gear I just bring a sleep aid and one of those eye cover things

Ha ha ha ha.... I bring my own bunkhouse...... and gonna love it...

kinda funny looking towing it behind the wee down the highway though....

Nice RV. However, I will be getting 48-50 mpg and my "knees will be in the breeze" starting when I leave the garage.

"If its not broke yet, it can still be fixed"

Well gee hawgadee that's a nice un!

You are saying that anyone can come and stay at your "bunkhouse? I hope it has that magic hot or cold air...but I just know it don't have one of them inside outhouses! You know this is like the military as in they make you dig your own latrine then you can maneuver one of the "outhouses on skids" over the hole. And don't worry about digging into a past latrine. All the previous spots are marked by squares of thick green grass

I'm just kidding of course...but for a second there you were hearing dueling banjos right?
