Cooperstown area and Catskills Mountains in rural NY. ... But I would also come to Vermont, do a cheese factory tour :-)

Excellent Routes for the Catskills option

I'll get the ball rolling....

In order to put the NE back in NEVA, I hereby nominate Killington in the Green Mountains of Vermont for NEVA17. The Killington area provides a centralized location and boasts a plethora of restaurants, mountain and forest roads, as well as easy access to the VT Gaps and Puppy Dog Trail. Not to mention Long Trail Brewery is less than 15 minutes away. There are 3 campgrounds in the Killington area that look interesting.

Gifford Woods State Park in Killington: Gifford S.P.

Coolidge State Park (15 Miles South of Killington): Group Camping Area Available. Coolidge S.P.

Camp Plymouth State Park (18 Miles South of Killington): Group Camping Area Available. Camp Plymouth S.P.

Catering: The Phat Italian Market and Deli: Phat Italian Catering

Vermont Gaps: Vermont Gaps Map

Puppy Dog Trail: Puppy Dog Trail GPX

My Puppy Gaps Ride: Puppy Gaps GPX
Map: Puppy Gaps Map

Something to discuss around the campfire...I could also whip up a Maine NEVA, but not sure if that would be too far North for the majority. Plus there's already the PEEP Show in Sept.

Geez, you guys really plan ahead around here. NEVA 2016 hasn't even happened yet. More riding less planning = happiness.

Thumbs up

This sounds like a great place as well and RT 100 is a great road for having fun when coming and leaving.

I like the Killington idea. Its a beautiful area and I'd love to have a tour guide through it!

We need to keep in mind that many of our gang come from the Toronto area. I think Maine is a bit far, at least for me it is!!!
