This event is a flea market and get together of motorcyclists to meet and greet.
You have a look around maybe buy something, try a new model bike, have some delicious BBQ lamb, meet new and old friends.
This is the 6th year that Thierry (aka Bandit) hosts this event with his family on their farm near Henryville, Qc. This will be my 5th year attending – I go for the BBQ ($3 or $4 a chop) and seeing friends, equipment, etc. I ride over from Montreal which is really a boring flat straight ride – all farmland.
Here is the link to the official site Accueil - La Brocante Moto
Hope to see you all there – especially the usual suspects ;-)
Let me know if you have any questions.

Just to let you know, most everything here will be in French, but most everyone here also speaks some English. So don't be shy to ask questions in English if you attend.
Also, Thierry who runs this event is a Stromtrooper aka Bandit and always sets aside a special area for us troopers to park our Wees and Vees.
The address is:
327 rang St-Louis
Henryville, QC - Tιl. 450 299 9702

You can also PM me if you need anything.
Thanks,
Danny C.

Oh and yes, this is in Canada so bring your passport and don't run the border crossing - you know who you are .

Thanks for posting Danny.
Does this event "sell out"? I can't commit yet, but don't want to risk being turned away either.
Thanks.

Danny,
Thank you for helping with this. For most of us, our French is rusty at best! Steve, as far as I know, it does not sell out. The property is big. I have attended this event for the past two years, and it never seemed overcrowded. Cool place to hang with fellow riders, and enjoy Quebec hospitality. Last year, Danny was gracious enough to show me and my friend around Montreal on Friday night prior to heading down to Henryville on Saturday a.m. Love to do that again if Danny is up for it. Any other takers? I typically stay at the McGill University Residence Hotel- reasonably priced and convenient.

Right on Syd, I don't think this event can sell out as the grounds are quite big. I have attended the past 5 years. There are always people coming and going at this event and attendance depends on the weather as we all know.
For sure Syd always a pleasure to have you guys up here. Like last year, if you come up, let me know and we can get together on Friday and head on down to the event on Saturday together. I am considering doing a ride after lunch along part of the wine route over towards Abercorn area.
Please let me know if you are coming up on the Friday so I can be sure to include you in anything we do.
Looking forward to seeing you.

Sounds great Bumper. Danny does know the best restaurants and bars (with the prettiest bartenders I might add)

I'm going to try to make it but can't commit yet. You and I missed connecting for a ride through the Laurentians two years ago, so I'm ready to give it another try. The flea market is of particular interest, and I do love bbq lamb! Yum.

I'll watch this thread and see what is happening.

Thanks
