3rd annual Cache Rally June 2016

June 25 -26....... set aside those days for the 3rd annual V-Strom Cache Rally!

The location;
Enterprise, Oregon

The site;

Check them out here;
Log House RV Park and Campground
Price - one bike one tent is $15.00 per night.
Don and I stayed in a cabin tent, but I didn't get the price.
They do have some nice rooms also.

This place is busy! The two nearby towns host of LOT of events, so if you plan on attending make your reservations early.

The owner is a motorcycle safety instructor, the facility is pretty good, and food is close by. If we get enough folks coming they might cater a breakfast for us if we chose.

Lots of nearby rides, both dirt and pavement. Hells Canyon Rec area is close by, along with a plethora of other gorgeous rides.

If you want more pics of the area and RV park my RR is here;
Tombstone's Travels: To Hell and back.
More details on the rally to come........eventually.

Yes, I was home before 9:00. The route you gave me was awesome! I wandered a bit in Cove, and then stopped and watched the helicopters filling their buckets and dropping it on the fires....then I busted it on the superslab home.

Was good to see you also. It's really good to have your knowledge of the area to set up the rides!
I'm already looking forward to this meet.

Anyone thinking about coming to this?

I'd like to get an idea of how many are even mildly interested.
1 - Are you thinking of coming?
2 - Do you want a catered breakfast?
3 - What type of ride do you want, dirt, pavement, mix?
4 - Tent site, cabin tent, or room?

As mentioned in the first post the "Log House" is a busy place...if we have a group we should be getting a block of tents sites, cabins..whatever before they fill up.

From SLC, UT to Enterrprise is 570 miles.
L.A. California. - 1020
Las Vegas, Nevada - 855
Virginia Beach, Virgina - 2774
Seattle, Washington - 370
Deadhorse, Alaska - 2952
Bend, Oregon - 347
Flagstaff, Arizona - 1083
Colorado Springs, Colorado - 1115
Key West, Florida - 3221
Walla Walla, Washington - 103
(Isn't google maps a great toy??)

I'm thinking a mostly cook your own, but if we get a group it might be fun to have a catered breakfast one morning. I don't remember what the cost was....or even if he told us..

1. Yes
2. Make my own or just all meet at a prearranged restaurant.
3. Mix. There are several dirt roads that are just nice gravel.
4. Tent.
This area has some great rides(Both for the scenery and twisties)

With bells and whistles at least we'll always know where you're at!
