NEVA 15

I AM OUT

I have decided to go ahead with my cornea operation which will tie me up until late spring if I am lucky.

I will be happy to coordinate with anyone who wants to direct it but am/will not be able to do some of the reconnoitering and pre running of routes etc.

I may be OK to attend in August etc.

Warning I was unsuccesful in only relying on maps etc to complete a reliable Saturday route and did travel and pre run them all (it still got effed up). Do this if you really will do this not just flap your gums

Rich,
Glad you're taking care of your eyesight. Given the choice, I am sure you would rather have your vision than ride right now. I am not a state or federal management type of guy, but I am sure a few of us dihards can get this going with your imput.
So, why don't we decide what needs to be done and get the help needed to pull off N.E.V.A. 15

Don't worry about it, richw.

What with all the gadgetry and Googletry, GoPros and Garmins, toss in a pmk, an njbill and a tnkrplt with a dose of BigMan and we'll figure out some rides. For starters, we can probably tap in to the ever-growing compilation of routes that Ed Conde has assembled over on the NER website.

why not just pick a weekend, pick a campground and go from there. Everyone can show up and go exploring, it's an adventure after all.

I'll do a route or three. Did I mention that I get furloughed every summer so I need something to do?

Bill,
You lucky dog, off all summer. I am sure you would do a great job at helping to nail down some routes. I can certainly help with some of the accommodation and eating logistics, especially if we are still holding it the Old Forge region. As Aus stated above, we are lucky to have a number of talented Vstrommers who are qualified to help. We just have to muster the troops
