Just 5 weeks away........make your plans now. This event keeps getting bigger every year (not always a good thing, due to traffic), but seems to get better with age as well!! If you have never attended this event, I encourage you to do so.........Mid-October in Alabama is typically "beautiful".........mild weather, lower humidity, and colors galore (trees).
You can go to the Barber website and see a listing of events and Vendors.......vintage road race, vintage Trials events, vintage Enduro (sorry, no Vintage MX this year due to a new track expansion), Century Race (100 yr old bikes), bike shows thru-out the complex, The Ace Cafe (think old school cafe racer bikes), New Products Vendor Section, air show during the lunch hour, the Jerry Wood Vintage Bike Auction (J Wood and Compamy Auctioneers, Liquidators
for a list of consigned bikes....so far), and of course the 400-500 Vendor Swap Meet Area.
Camping inside the complex has long been sold out.......but the Hiway 280 Corridor is just 20-30 minutes away with plenty of motels/hotels/eateries.
I will be at Swap Meet Space # H-30
again this year......9 years now. Come by, say "hello", and look over my used bikes for sale as well as an assortment of new ROK Straps, Polar Bear Coolers, SOKz Moto-socks, and Jacket/Helmet Caddys......plus Vintage TShirts, magazines, and who knows what else I'll drag out there.
