Factory service manual

Just received my service manual from the dealer. PN is 99500-36135-03E Copyright date is 2003. Can anyone who has a OEM service manual validate that this is the latest PN?
The description on the dlr ticket is: DL650/A 2004-20

Thanks

That is a genuine PN, although I have also seen them with PN 99500-36220-03E. Only a disreputable dealer would ever sell pirated manuals.
The pirates that sell copies online also copy off the genuine PN. That manual must be getting very thick now if it covers all three generations.

The first image below is a genuine manual. The next two are fakes.

Thanks Brockie - mine looks just like your copy so this is the latest version? I guess mechanically the bike is the same since it was created in 2004? Would have thought they would have had a comment/addendum stating something like "updates made where applicable to include 2017+ models".

Brockie I just tried to get onto Suzuki Australia via their contact area about getting the 2017 manual and when I hit the submit button I got a message that the address could not be found.
So not having much luck ATM.

I agree. The same manual for three generations over 15 years? I wonder how they cover removing the tank, or adjusting the headlight? I have never seen the latest manual as I have a Gen 1 Weestrom.
The mechanicals will be basically the same but there are dozens of upgrades over the years.

Have a look at how to adjust the headlight. Images and instructions for the Gen 1 will not cover the Gen 3. Perhaps the date thing is misleading.

I found the same when attempting to message to suzukimotorcycles.com.au newly upgraded website. I then went to suzuki.com.au as I believe they share the same physical location. Wait and see if there is a response to my message. In the meantime if you need specific information immediately ask here and someone will help.

Thanks Brockie.
The main thing I need to know at the moment is if the valve clearances and setting procedure are the same as the L2 model as I have access to that manual.
I still want to buy the up to date manual for my bike when I can.
If it is not available in Aus I might check out Canada as my son will be over there in December.

Not sure I would have purchased it had I known this. I may mention this to the dlr and see what they say/

No. Similar, but no.

My manual is specific to the '17+.

So you think he didn't order the right one? I will call him tomorrow and give him your PN 99500-36250-03E. What is copyright date on yours and does it have comments/info stating 2017+? My version has supplements but they only go to the '11 model.
