Rear Top Rack for 2017

Guys HEELLLPPPP.

Why is everything that is made to accommodate soft luggage so damn expensive? Adventure Tech doesn't make their top rack anymore. Does anyone have some links to a not crazy expensive rear top rack? 200 Cad tops.

XOXO

I run a top case, so I'm not sure what top rack would meet your needs. Do you have links to some options out there?

The PMR rack is under $100 here in the US, I think I paid around $107 with shipping. Sorry to see the significant markup for you. It is very good quality and looks good, too.

There is also this one:

https://www.happy-trail.com/find-you...ail-plate.html

It says 1000 in the description but it also fits the 2017+ 650’s. I bought the PMR because of what I felt was a more useful width.

I like the look of both! PMR is looking like the cheapest usable size right now.I need to mount some fuel cans on the rack with a bag on top sooooo...... Have you ever used rotopax or equivalent on your PMR rack?
Happy trails is clocking in at a whopping $250Cad plus importation fees for the rack and (T3?) plate.

Oh buddy, do I have some questions for you. That mount for your fuel bottle. Link and size?
Bags on your crash bars. Link?
Love the look.

The givi top case rack I ordered came with two support braces that run from the frame to the rear of the OEM top rack. This provides a more sturdy platform. I wouldn't put much weight on the OEM top rack without these support braces IMO. Hopefully the solutions you are looking at include those.

Can you provide a link or part # so I know which one you're talking about?

Cheers

Here's the link to the PDF for my top rack that identifies the support bars and their location:
