Rigid Ignite LED light Install
I purchased these lights by Rigid, very small, low current draw. I have one spot and one flood. I have been trying to find the best place to install them. I considered the crash bar, but I was concerned that they might detract from the effectiveness of the turn signals. So I think I have found a suitable location. The reflectors on the forks look like a good spot. The studs on the reflectors are M5, so I replaced the screws on the Rigids with 30mm long M5 bolts, and the lights bolt on perfectly. Looks very good. As well I found a place for the switch on the handlebars. Now I'll have to remove some body work and the tank to run the wiring back to the battery. I am going to use a relay ( not because of current draw but so I can wire it to a switched source to ensure the lights are unpowered when the key is off. I will update when I get these wired with a report on effectiveness as well.
