The elusive NGK MR8E-9 spark plug

So it appears that our 2017+ 650's uses a different spark plug than previous generations. It's a standard (as in non-iridium) NGK MR8E-9, aka # 90527. OEM part number is 09482-00646.

These appear to be available nowhere in the US other than Suzuki dealers, which means they're way overpriced. Can't find any alternatives cross-referenced. Don't even see them on NGK's site.

Anyone find a reasonably-priced source for these? Local auto parts stores can't even find that they exist.

After shipping, $20 each from dealer is likely cheaper.

No, it should be about $40 for four shipped. Maybe they combine shipping.

Garage
They are listed at Partzilla for $15.17 freight free. https://www.partzilla.com/product/su...ef=09482-00646

However, I really fail to see how reverting to an old fashioned standard plug can be better, or longer lasting than an iridium plug like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4pcs-2012-S...MAAOSwq4VaMdl7

Look at this thread active between 2007 and 2015. https://www.stromtrooper.com/dl650-d...ark-plugs.html
Thoughts anyone?

Those cross reference to the 2nd generation OEM plug. Suzuki saw the need to call for (and install at the factory) a different plug for 2017+.

To be clear, the parts list shows both standard and iridium options (two brands each) for the 2nd generation. None of these options match the OEM 3rd Gen plug...
