FWIW I intend to try it in the next few months and document my efforts. I have one that I used on my GS but I think the switch is bad. I need to find a wiring diagram to find out where the speed sensor wires are.

The Wee3 has independent sensors on both throttle body vacuum ports which rules out a simple installation of the Audio Vox CC 100 unit.

I bought a new switch for my unit but I am skeptical that it will fix the problem if there is a problem. The documentation for the Rostra IMHO is marginal. I have found 3 documented methods for putting the unit into diagnostic mode and none work. People on other MC forums have encountered the same problem. It is possible that the unit will work but it is a lot of work to fit these to a bike and I am reluctant to do all the work only to find out the unit is bad. I have used an Audiovox on an FJR and the Rostra on a BMW R1200GS. They worked but not anywhere near as well as factory units. I am considering the MC Cruise unit from Australia made for the bike. I have studied the install manual and everything is plug and play. No garage engineering or fabrication needed and no Positap or Scotchlock electrical connections needed. I have also dealt with their support on an older unit and I was very impressed. But the kit is close to $1000 and as much as I like cruise control I struggle with investing that much money in an $8000 motorcycle that I will probably only have for two years.

I have been able to put the Rostra in diagnostic mode and everything checked out with the unit. I also used a control pad from an earlier Audio Vox install and I'm hoping that is the problem. The Rostra manual has a method to test the control pad, but it's such poor quality printing I can't read it. Will get a new control pad and see what happens.

I have the MC Cruise on my V2.

Easy to follow instruction and great support if needed.

They are built for motorcycles and that comes with added safety.

They love their Stroms too.
