Richlandrick mirror extender w- ball mount

Hello all,

Anyone running the RLR mirror extender with ball mount for GPS.

Hows that work out? Okay?
I need to bring my Garmin 550 only occasionally...

Already have a 2" RAM arm. Loking for a low cost mounting method, thinking this might just do the trick.

I've got two of them. One per side. It's working fine. I will warn you though that for some reason, the thread of the ram ball and the thread drilled through the extension don't match up QUITE right. And the threads on the ram ball are soft and can jam in there if care isn't taken while twisting in the ball mount.

The other parts fit perfect (mirror, new bolts, etc)

I put my iPhone up there and it is very secure. I"m not THRILLED with the position of it, but that's not a mark at all against ricks item, just that I prefer a gps to be low and centered instead of off to the right or left.
