Compatibility of older Wee Sw Motech quick release side rack

Hi,
Has anyone tried fitting the SW Morech quick release side racks from older Wee onto the 2012 Glee? Since I already have the old style I'd like to save money if I get a new Glee.

I see that the part number is NOT the same. But the fit must be real close? My hppe is that the connecting tabs on the older style can rotate a bit to allow for minor changes in angle.

Greywolf please help!!!

current: '12 DL650 Russell seat & Akra CF and '13 WR250R

Garage
It's been well covered that seats and luggage mounts changed for the Glee.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

+1 on V-Tom's comments. You will not be able to mount the first generation side carriers without some major customization. The time, materials and energy are not really worth the effort. It would be cheaper to sell the first gen racks (if you have them) and buy the updated version.
