GIVI PLR3101 Racks (Quick-Release)

I'm still learning how to search through posts but unable to find any about the GIVI PLR3101 quick release racks for the 2012 Wee. Is anyone hear using them? If so, how are they working out and are they as easy to remove as GIVI claims? I only use saddlebags when I am touring (I use the Kriega US-30 for day trips), so I want racks that are easy to remove. I appreciate any insight.

Thanks in advance,

frosty

Just put mine on.

Put them on last night and went for a ride today. One of my e 21 came off while riding , must not have had it latched. It held up well though. I haven't taken the racks off yet but will let you know when i do. It is 103 degrees today. Nate 2012 fox orange

Work great, though dealer delivered missing 1 of the mounting posts. Easy off, easy on. Really like them. Using with 40 L side bags.

Garage
Lovem

I have had mine for a couple months. I don't pop them on/off very frequently, but I haven't had any troubles when I do. When I first got them I played with them a bit, and even after 2-3 rounds of taking them on/off I was getting noticably quicker with it. I didn't time it, but I am guessing less than 2 minutes all together.

I think its easy, but I think most things are easy. The custom tool isn't the greatest thing ever invented, but it does the job. I did a write up in the Maintenance, Tech and Farkles section.

A good way to search this or any other forums is to use google. In the search box just enter: <Search Phrase> site:<website url>
such as: PLR3101 site:https://www.stromtrooper.com

I posted on the GIVI rack system when I installed them. Great system and very solid.

I have them for my bike. They are well designed and a "good piece of kit" as some of our brethren from across the pond say. Quite happy with them so far.
