Less than 3000kms and I am hearing a ticking at idle, most noticeable on the rh side. Suzuki mechanic says it sounds normal? Is it valve noise or am i hearing injectors?Should i be making more noise at the dealer?

Great. You had to go and post this.... now I hear it too, and I can't unhear it! I have no idea if it just kicked in around 6 months/3500 miles of riding, or if it was there all along but I never noticed it until you brought it to my attention. It's not there until I've ridden it for a while, though, i.e., not on a cold startup.

Well I have nothing to add except to say that you're not alone and you're not nuts, and hopefully a bit more detail on "that's normal" from your dealer's mechanic can be supplied by someone here.

They all sound that way. If they don't sound like a bucket of bolt rattling around underneath you, there's something wrong.

Y'all need to own a Vee. Just for a couple weeks anyway. That will cure ANY funny noise you THOUGHT you heard in the Wee.....

Wink

What ever gripe you have the mechanics say "they all do that." I think it's a standard answer unless you threaten them with bodily harm.

The 1%'ers will say bring it in we will fix it right up!

Mine sounds awesome.
