WTB: Seat for a 2012 DL650A

Hi, all -

I'd like to get a Russell All-Day seat built, but don't want to stop riding my new Wee long enough to send my seat away. Call me a ride-a-holic, but I just can't bear the thought. So, I'm looking to buy a seat for a 2012 - I've been told (by Greywolf, no less) that nothing else will fit.

(Ideally, I'd love to be able to *borrow* a seat - since I'm just going to resell the extra as soon as the job is done, but I don't suppose anybody has one...)

Where are you located? I may be able to lend you a stock seat in a week or two, when I get my Corbin seat back. I would reserve actually selling it outright though, at least for a year, just in case I end up wanting to try a Russell seat myself at some point later

You're in Flushing? Good grief... I'm in Brooklyn, just a short ride away. The world is a very small place.

If you have a favorite beer, please let me know - I'd be glad to stand you a six-pack. Heck, I'll even let you try out the Russell so you can get hooked too!

You got it bro!

I'm about to take my Corbin seat on a serious road trip, too - 1,000+ miles to Montreal and back by way of Boston and Maine at the end of July/early August. That should meet or surpass the Corbin break-in period, and we'll see how my butt deals with it.

Would love to compare it to the Russell first hand, they have a great online rep for touring comfort but I've never seen one in person. I'm not sold on the looks of the things but I'm first and foremost a practical guy; looks would take a back seat (ha) to comfort on this topic!

At the very least I would save you some time. It's been 6+ weeks since I sent it back for re-covering and still not done! I'm doing that road trip on my stock seat with a BeadRider!
