I'm back up and running

Well, I'm just about healed up from the rear end crash last year. My 09 wee was demolished, and I almost was. My broken back and mangled leg are mostly mended, with ibuprofen once in a while to keep the stiffness at bay.

I picked my 2012 DL650 this evening from Sanders Motorsports in Visalia, CA.
I must admit I was a bit apprenhensive, but after 5 miles, the fear vanished and the grin returned. I'm happy to be back on the road. I'll see you out there!

Welcome back, as my father used to say "You can't die if you aren't living" although his issue had to do with heart/bacon/vodka!
Glad to hear you are doing well.

I just rode back from Sequia Park through Visalia. A good place to launch yourself into some great twisty roads.
Enjoy the new bike and congrats on healing up!

good news

It is great to hear you are riding again. I am sure you love the new bike.
I have less stiffness when I ride the bike then when I ride in the car.
Be safe and have fun.

It just figures, now that I am old and wise enough to stop and smell the roses, I would lose my sense of smell.
