Riding in loose gravel

I can't believe the big different in bikes. I had an 09 wee and traded it in on my current 650 adventure model. I ride on loose gravel roads daily and the comparison in bikes is amazing. The new adventure is 100% better on loose gravel than my old wee, to what reason this is I don't have a clue. Maybe the reported lower center of gravity. Whatever it may be I am much appreciative of this, I will call it a freebie that was included with the bike.

Same tires as when I originally got the 09. Tread pattern about the same on replacements. Can't see much difference in this pattern as old.
