Question Quick stock ADV windshield question

So I moved my windshield from the middle to high position before riding today. Lots more wind then I was expecting and I think I may have mixed up the rubber bushings.

Do the short guys go on the top bolts? I think I reversed that and thus have a very steep angle on my shield.

Well, switch the bolts back again and see if the angle decreases?

I was wondering the same thing. I reinstalled the windshield in the highest position with the long spacers on top. I noticed a decrease in wind from the lower position, so it seems right to me. Plus, it looks to me that the hand guards would contact the shield at full lock if the short spacers were on top.

Mostly I was wondering what the stock setup is to confirm. If anyone out there hasn't messed with their shield and could take a look - I'd appreciate it.

Mine is still in the original middle position. Longer spacers go with the top bolts.

interesting, I might move my shield back to the middle position. I feel like I'm getting more buffeting from the upper position then I was in the middle. Thanks!

I have not even thought of moving the screen, don't notice any buffeting in the middle position.

I moved mine up and don't like it there either. Going to drop it back to middle tonight. Timely post, I was wondering if I had screwed up the spacers too.

Thanks,

I also thought it would be better up high. I'm moving mine back down today too.
