What the hell is a carter? Even a combination cooler and filter would be a coolter.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

I like the look they give the bike so I'll be keeping an eye out. Givi.CA has them available at the end of May.

I've got my eyes on this lower cowl from Greece for when I get my bike. They call it a skid plate, but I don't think I'd expect it to be able to take any off-road hits without being damaged.

PODIA skid-plate for Suzuki V-Strom DL650 (-2011), MotoAgora

The engine carts your oil around when you ride. Thus..an "oil carter protector."

Go hakafugu yourself.
