Here's some pics of my Black 2012 V-Strom 650 fitted with Givi Trekker Luggage. I use the tank bag on it for my sat nav. Works like a charm :)

I'll update these pics with some more 'picturesque' ones at a later date.

Dean10...I'm guessing you had that custom painted...given I've never heard of a 'yellow' wee and that color doesn't match Suzuki's relatively bright color scheme. Also given the fact that the second pic appears to be in the shop.

Did you do it or pay someone and if so what'd you pay? I would love to change the color when I get mine.

Some pic's of my 2012

Got my tall seat and MRA windshield on, boy that was a PITA to put together! I also got some S-W Motech decals made for the crash bars (orange) and skid plate. Also mounted my Givi trunk and backrest. Get-R-done, Cheers--BB

Nice, I just picked up mine Sat, really like the crash bars. Can you tell me more about the seat. I have a 34inch inseam, and the stock seat seems a bit low for me, and tends to force my forward into the tank...no exactly comfortable if you know what I mean...is this simply a taller seat from the dealer, can I get online? I also need a taller wind screen, how do you like the MRA?

Thanks

Yellow V-strom

Hi guys I see there are a couple of questions on my yellow v strom. So here goes. All my motorcycles I had have always been yellow (few exceptions) so when I was looking to buy the V strom I was disappointed that there was not a yellow one available only black white and orange. The local dealer had black ex demo and made me good offer on my yellow F800s so after looking at it I quickly realised it should be quite an easy job to change the colour just a question of removing 5 panels and getting them to a paint shop that another dealer/mate recommended and the results you can see in the picture. Bit of a dialog on what colour yellow to go for and the sky is the limit on what you can spend on specialised paint but I went for a bog standard yellow that every paint shop in the world can replicate if I ever need a touch up. The price was about EUR400.00 not cheap in my view for spraying 5 panels but I wanted a yellow v strom so I coughed up the monies. So that was the easy part the next big project is to get the bike to the Americas for a pan american road trip I am in the middle of planning.Attached before and after shots
