Sorry, with all the comments about the '12 being smoother and this and that, makes perfect toast and so on, I just couldn't resist.

For what it's worth,I rode a older 650 the day I bought my 1000. After riding my 2012 650, and reading the comments on here, it is a lot better, all round, no-it won't bet a Vee, but it's moving closer, the toast thing is a myth, mine wasn't quite as done as I like it! Cheers--BB

well i dunno how much soul a bike can have but the 11' and earlier dl's got a lot more upgrade options, track history, and used parts options
