Speed Sensor Question

I'm thinking of installing a Speedohealer on my '13 DL650. I've read the posts regarding where to find the connector for this gadget, but they seem to conflict with my shop manual's speed sensor location.

Suzuki shows a speed sensor in the wiring diagram, and pictures it on the end of the front sprocket's shaft (it "sees" the 4 toothed wheel on the end of the transmission output shaft, outboard of the sprocket).

Is this the sensor I want for the speedohealer? If so I can follow the cable to its connector.

If I am looking at the wrong sensor, what should I be looking for on the wiring diagram?

Thumbs up

That is the correct place to connect the speedo healer. I went to a 16T front sprocket. Now it reads only 1-2 mph high.

Check the install guide here on the specific model.
