My 13 has been pretty much "issue free" in 60k miles. I replaced the fork oil once when installing gold valves and springs, without replacing seals or bushings. I've cleaned out the seals with a credit card once to stop a leak. And I most recently replaced the seals, bushings and oil. Doesn't seem like an excessive amount of work, especially considering how I abuse the bike. For what it's worth, I use Bel-Ray fork oil, and OEM seals and bushings.
