Improving stand-up ergos for my 6'3" frame

Wondering about tall rider mods for my bike?
2012 DL650A
I'm 6'3" ish
I currently have 30mm (inch and a bit) straight risers on, what I believe are, stock handlebars.
In a standing position I'm definitely bent over further than I'd like to be. It's uncomfortable to ride more than a few minutes at a time standing up.
I previously had Rox 2" risers in the up and back position although I think now I might put them back on in the up and forward position if I can work that out.
I will also order the 1" foot peg lowering kit, which should help. I'm just not sure that will be enough.
Anyone my height, or taller, have experience with mods to improve stand-up ergos?

Standing riding is illegal in some states. Be careful and check local laws.🏍💨

You might also consider a handlebar raising kit but many tend to purchase a higher Adventure handlebar to also get wider bars which offer more leverage if you intend to ride unsealed roads. Most such bars tend to be overly wide with markings to cut them back to your preference.

I've got the same Rox risers installed up and a bit forward. Also have a peg lowering kit. Stock bars. I'm 6'2", long torso, and long arms, so this setup improves the ergos when sitting and standing.

I was amazed at the effect when trying to stand with the normal pegs vs. the peg lowering kit (and gear extension). I had no idea it would make that much difference. However the sitting position doesn't seem that much different but every little bit helps. When I had the seat redone by Terry Adcox he also move the seating position back 1 inch (he normally would have moved the seat down 1 inch also but I told him to keep the seat at the same level as stock). I also added the 1 inch Rox risers (the most I could do without changing the front brake hose). I'm 6'2".

I too am 6’3”, 2012 DL650A. I’m using 2” Rox risers, +2” SS brake line, Adcox seat, Adventure Tech peg lowering kit. Currently only using as a touring bike. I had to roll my risers and bars back after getting the Adcox seat as the seated position was moved aft. If you are using a stock seat you can maximize the bar height for standing up as the seating position is more forward. If I were ever to do light off road I would put stock seat back on and roll bars up/forward.

They don’t like it when you take your maneuverability test either. I was on my plated XR400 and just stood up out of habit

I get feedback all the time that the peg lowering kit and handlebar risers (we don't sell handlebar risers right now) make a huge difference in comfort when standing.
