tell me what you think

National Powersports Distributors

My brother put a deposit on this bike and it'll be shipped to him, do you think at the end of the video that there is a hesitation when it's being revved? I didn't think so, but after watching it a few times I thought ....maybe. It has about 4500 miles on it.

6 grand for a stock-ish 2015???

NO

For reference, I paid a little over 6k for a 2015XT 2 years ago, and did a fly and ride. It had many more farkles)skid plate, engine guards, heated grips, Powerlet, Givi Airflow windshield and a custom seat) than this bike does so consider that before it's too late.

I think the dealership did a good job of marketing, but the bike at least in the south is worth somewhere in the 4's.

And you can get 2017 model for around $6000. On E-bay National Powersports bikes never go even close to their asking price since they are way overpriced

ALL-- their prices are inflated. The Pembroke "outlet" is about ten miles away and I stop in for a bit four/five times a year.
I've never traded in a bike for another used bike, but for giggles I've pretended to do so just to see what they would offer.
Around 2010 I asked how much they would give me for my pristine 98 stock VFR with 18k miles ( last of the OHC bevel drive) towards a $11,500 ST1300.
"$1450" !!
Lots of machines, they prep to the extreme, and charge for it for sure.

In answer to the OP's question I got the impression that the motor was slow to respond to the movement of the throttle.

Its never too late to have a happy childhood

No! Plenty of bikes for sale by private owners out there.Dealers inflate the price waiting for an implaus buyer to purchase.

Garage
NADA says $6335 in my area, may be different where you live. Also looks like a sargent seat and center stand installed. Probably find a lower price from a private seller, but the low miles is also a plus.
Kind of hard to tell from the video how it's running, he lets off the throttle before it revs very high. Good thing too, don't want to rev an unloaded engine very high.

I don't want a pickle, I just want to ride my motorsickle. A. Guthrie.
