motor oil

Anybody use the Suzuki R9000 full synthetic 10W40 ecstar motor oil in their 650 v strom? I've used the Yamaha full synthetic in my fjrs and feel it was money well spent.

There is a policy on this forum to allow "oil" discussion in one thread only: The big oil thread.

This may get moved to that as soon as a moderator gets to it. Please do not be offended. Oil discussion never seems to have and end to it or a result worth arguing over! So there is one place to do it and know that someone may, or may NOT like your opinion about oil. Simple as that.

In the old days... GW would have swooped in and laid the hammer down for an oil question not in the oil thread. I don't think I am alone but I miss GW.

Any brand dino, synthetic or blend 10W-40 oil will be fine to use in your DL.
