The 2 Brothers pipes I have had on my 1000 were very loud. Fun, but obnoxious around town. The Dels are about medium loud and sound good, too. Not just noise. I think you'll like 'em.

I've always kept my systems stock until this 650XT. The 650XT was "too" quiet. The price $ of the Delkevic made it easy for me to give one a try. Not knocking a $600, $800, $1100 systems but this was an easy decision if you wanted to try something different and not go broke.

Just received notice that Delkevic is having a Black Friday Sale. This will make their systems even more attractive ($) if you want to try out an aftermarket system on your Strom.

Damn I am so tempted, but the exhaust cans in the pics I've seen posted are a bit too long for my liking.

Did you really have to take the front end apart to put on the exhaust. I hope other work was being performed.

B - The Delkevic sales guy that I dealt with a few days ago said that the Black Friday deal was to be 10% off. I ordered a 14" carbon fiber system that will go well with my flat black K8 Wee. I would have saved $27 if I waited but anxiousness and a buddy's installation help this Saturday caused me to go ahead and pull the trigger. My suggestion is go to the Del website and look at the 14" stubby system as shown on the picture of it installed on a Strom. Personally I think Drill would look suuweeet with a carbon system.

Just throwing some more temptation your way.

Happy Thanksgiving

Anyone with a Delkevic and a Weld 86 skid plate. Any interference with the crossover pipe?

Hi!
Did you had to repack yet? I am really interested on a Delkevic (probably the same oval 18" that you have on your bike) and I was wondering after how many miles people had to repack them (approximate) and how easy it was since you have to drill the rivets etc.
I know Delkevic sells a kit to get them repacked.

Thanks!
