ABS Bypass

My rear ABS is dead and I'm not buying a brand new one and can't find a used one so I am wanting to bypass the ABS line . Can I use a rear brake line from an earlier module (pre 2012) for this?

How do you know it is dead, and is the ABS light staying on?

The rear brake "should" perform the same with or without the pump so a bypass "should" not be necessary.

Do you have a problem that is stopping your rear brake from working as it is ?

The rear brake was frozen- couldn't depress it. I replaced the master and proceeded as usual with the bleeding process. The master was pumping but the bleeder would not draw fluid past the ABS module, it was locked in the shut mode. No light and still no light. I bypassed the rear ABS with a new brake line. Everything works fine now and $1K cheaper than replacing the ABS Module

Sometimes you just gotta try yourself. Is it leaking fluid all over the place??
