Question Precision Motorcycle Racks?

I am wondering if anybody has these racks and if they will accept Wolfman Expedition dry saddle bags. I have a '13 DL650 need some soft waterproof luggage. Thanks for your help.

Precision Motorcycle Racks?

They worked great with a set of Nelson-Rigg Adventure Dry Saddlebags (SE-2050-BLK) that I had, so I'm assuming they would also work with the Wolfmans. You might want to compare the dimensions of the bags though.

I fitted a set of these to my new 650XT as I wanted to use my existing Oxford throwovers. They're well made - very 'substantial' - and keep soft luggage clear of the exhaust. Easy to fit and reasonably priced. The only alternative soft luggage racks I've seen were made in Greece - looked OK but were thinner guage. Not familiar with your luggage but I would imagine they'll give plenty of support to most soft panniers. They seem a pretty helpful company - ask them if unsure.

according to the PMR website, if you go to the wolfman section and look at that bag, it states they will mount to all of their racks.

I have a set that I use with my nelson-rigg's, work great. I also made a tool tube for the non-exhaust side, works well. The racks are high quality.

+1 for quality and compatibility with the Neslon-Rigg bags.

They are quite sturdy. Fell over in the dirt and no harm done to racks or bike.

Hey Phil, I use Wolfman large rolies with my PM racks, so I think the Expedition bags should mount up just fine.

Phil,

Would love to see some pics after they are mounted and your thoughts about them. Also, what bags are you putting on them?

I still need to make a decision.

Phil: You got me looking at the racks and I also wound up ordered a set. I have of pair of soft bags that I use to lugs some golf clubs to the driving range (they extend out of the back of the bags that zip shut on top). I think the Precision racks look pretty good on the bike. Let us know how the Wolfman bags work as I'll be looking for some other bags for my bike.
